Mrs. Magoo Reads was started in August 2007, when I was almost twelve years old. It began as a blog featuring book reviews for children and teens.
Three years later, in August 2010, I transformed my blog into the website you are currently viewing. It has expanded and now features reviews of not only books, but movies, music, a variety of unique products, and more! You can also read interviews that Mrs. Magoo Reads has conducted (Sara Bareilles, Ellen Hopkins, and many more), as well as original videos.
Because much of the content on Mrs. Magoo Reads is geared towards teens and young adults, we have two guest reviewers who stop by to help reach a larger audience: Mini Magoo writes reviews for children, and Mama Magoo writes reviews for adults. We will occasionally have other guest reviewers contribute to the site.
